Amusnet has officially entered the North American market after obtaining a Gaming-Related Supplier–Manufacturer Registration from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO), marking a significant milestone in the company’s global expansion strategy.

The approval allows the supplier to distribute its online gaming content through licensed operators in Ontario, widely regarded as one of the most mature and tightly regulated iGaming jurisdictions in North America. This development represents Amusnet’s first operational foothold in the region, with the company positioning Ontario as a strategic launchpad for further growth.

Ontario Approval Opens Door to Regulated Market Expansion

By securing the AGCO licence, Amusnet has demonstrated its ability to meet stringent regulatory requirements covering technology standards, data security, and player protection. Ontario’s framework is often considered a benchmark for compliance, making entry into the province particularly significant for international suppliers.

The company will initially focus on rolling out its digital iGaming portfolio, with plans to expand into land-based gaming solutions at a later stage. This phased approach reflects a broader strategy centred on regulated market entry and long-term sustainability.

Ivo Georgiev, CEO of Amusnet, described the approval as a defining moment for the business and its international ambitions.

Georgiev said:

Securing the AGCO licence is an important milestone for Amusnet and reflects our long-term commitment to operating in fully regulated markets.

Ontario’s reputation as a fast-growing iGaming market, combined with its strict oversight, makes it an attractive destination for suppliers seeking stable, long-term opportunities. With demand for regulated online gaming continuing to rise, Amusnet’s entry comes at a time of sustained market momentum.

Strategic Growth Plans Extend Beyond Ontario

While Ontario serves as the company’s initial base, Amusnet has indicated that it is actively exploring further expansion opportunities across Canada and the wider North American market. The move aligns with its broader strategy of targeting regulated jurisdictions with clear compliance frameworks.

The addition of Ontario to its portfolio strengthens the company’s global footprint and reinforces its focus on scalable growth. Industry observers note similar international ambitions among suppliers, such as Soft2Bet’s partnership with Amusnet to target European markets, which highlights cross-border expansion strategies.

Georgiev highlighted the long-term potential of the region, noting that North America remains a key priority for the company’s future development.

He said:

Our entry into Ontario represents a key strategic step into North America, which is a high-priority region with strong long-term growth potential. We look forward to partnering with local operators and building a sustainable presence in the market.

Product Portfolio and Technology to Drive Market Entry

The company’s product portfolio includes over 270 certified games, spanning online slots, live casino titles, and interactive content tailored to regional preferences. Among the highlights are its progressive jackpot system, Golden Coins Link, and its Bonus Platform, which enables operators to efficiently manage promotional campaigns.

Amusnet has also prioritized interactive and localized content, with live casino titles like Candy Wheel, Eye of Ra 2000x, and Vegas Gobbler Live gaining attention for their engagement-focused features. The company is also developing virtual casino games with innovative mechanics, including Virtual Monaco Roulette 72x and Virtual Vegas Roulette 500x.

In addition, Amusnet continues to invest in technology upgrades to enhance operator performance and player experience. Its Bonus Platform now includes a centralized Bonus Hub and features such as Lucky Spins, Cash Bomb Jackpots, Countdown Free Spins, and a Tournament Tool for competitive gameplay. These tools are designed to increase engagement while supporting regulated operations in new markets.
